Wedding In Dauphin Manitoba

Last week I headed out to Dauphin, Manitoba to capture Danny and Melissa's beautiful Wedding day.
My husband came along to keep me company for the long drive, and help me out with PHOTOBOOTH.  Take down and set up can be quite time consuming for one person, so I LOVE to have an assistant.

Baby on the Way

Heather and Howard, who I seemed to like to call Harold, came in to Winnipeg for a family wedding, and had asked me to capture their Maternity photos.  I met this couple a few time @ a friends wedding, shower, birthday parties etc.  So it was great to see them, catch up and capture these images.

Good luck you two with the delivery of Baby B, and I can't wait to see photos, and hope to see you guys again in the future, when you travel back to Winnipeg.

Dave & Kim Tie the Knot

Few weeks ago I shot some gorgeous engagement photos for this WONDERFUL couple.  Now they have tied the knot.  A beautiful day, a hot sunny ceremony, and the always amazing Gates on Roblin.

I am so excited to have shot this wedding.  Here is a sneak peek.

Income Properties "Scott McGillvary"

At the end of June I was hired by CIBC once again (which is always a wonderful experience) to photograph an event they were holding @ The Greenwood Inn in Winnipeg, Manitoba.   I was honored to accept this assignment. When I arrived I was told some exciting news!  If any of you watch HGTV,  you will know the popular show Income Properties with host Scott McGillvary.  Scott was the guest speaker @ the event and I was sooo excited to photograph him.  We watch the show a lot, as my husband lives for the HGTV channel...   Here is a few shots from the evening!  :)

Michael Graduates

At the end of June I met up with Michael and his family.   I have known this family for a few years, as they are good friends with very close friends of mine.   This shoot was so fun!  This family was game for anything I suggested, even standing in a doorway of a barn with an 8 foot drop behind in high heels and dress shoes!  Way to go guys!  :)    Can't wait till the next shoot!

Baby M

Well a few months ago I met Mom to be Amy and Dad to be Ryan.   We captured some amazing Maternity photos, and I was so excited when they had told me they had chosen me to also capture their baby girl, when she arrived!   Well, days after her arrival Mom and Dad brought baby M to me for a sleepy time newborn photo shoot.  I explained to this wonderful couple that under 2 weeks was the best time to capture these little bundles of joy..  I think baby M heard me telling this to her Mommy even before she arrived, cause she sure made a liar out of me!   We attempted for a few hours to capture the images that Mom and Dad so hoped for, but decided to call it quits after 3 or so hours....   I offered to head out to their place the following week and try again....   This bringing baby M to just over 2 weeks old.  Well guess what!  She slept like a 2 day old, and the shoot was amazing!   Special thanks to Grandma of baby M for sticking around to give the grandmotherly touch of putting the little one into a deep sleep!
