WINDY WINNIPEG

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing Matt & Kellie and there adorable little girl "M" As I drove to this photo shoot, I was really unsure as to if it would be happening or not. Our wonderful city of winnipeg was beyond windy, and definately COLD. I arrived at our meeting location in the city's Exchange District to find this family, ready for the cold and wind. Thankfully this family had access to an exchange district building, so we started the shoot off inside and finished up outside. I must say, even though we didn't last outside all that long, we got some great shots, and little "M" was more than great... She had her pretzels and that was all that mattered. Thanks guys for being so great, and here are some samples from today.

Engagement Session Saturday

Yesterday I had 2 E-sessions back to back.. With quite fun couples.
Each couple wasn't 100% sure of what to expect in an e-session,
so we took it easy. LOL.. But we had alot of fun. Alot of jokes about
when to smile, till I developed my look! Instead of saying smile
every 2 seconds. Here is a few samples of Jo-anne & Shaun's and
Ashley & Bren't E-sessions....... We started the day @ Buhler Baseball
park, and over to the forks, then the Exchange! It was a great day
with 2 of my fave spots.....

Ok, so wow.. Have I been overwhelmed. Not only am I edting up a storm, but we are in the process of selling our home and purchasing a new one.... That is hectic in it self. Just wanted to post where I am at to give everyone a heads up. I am currently working on Kara & Tj's Wedding.. Hoping to be completed by the end of the weekend, as well as working on Matthew & Jordins Wedding, and again hoping to complete by the end of the weekend..

From there Bonnie & Adam

In there coffee table books for 2 couples.
And in between as time allows, I will be working on
Stacey & Joe's E-session, as well as Lynda & Mikes

that either. Again thanks everyone.. And looking forward

Today I had the pleasure of photographing an awesome gal.....

As most people feel, the camera is not the first thing she runs

over to... Today she put all fears aside and got all done up for

a portrait session. Here are her samples.

7 Degrees

Yes tonights E-photo session was a little chilly. Stacey and Joe didn't let the cool breeze, get to them. No jackets or anything. I was impressed. I stayed in my warm (not warm enough though) fleece sweater as I shot there special moments, but my goodness, when we finished the rain started and honestly, it was perfecting timing. Anyways we had fun. Here is some of there shots from tonight.

Thanksgiving Portraits

Yes Thanksgiving day morning started with a cold rainy photo shoot. This family really had guts. LOL. They wanted these portraits done and nothing was going to stop them.. Thanks for being so tough guys. Here is some samples.

Tanis & Kevin

The day was saved! All week the weather forcast didn't look good for today.. Cold and Rain. Well they were right about one thing... It was sure cool. However the rain held up.. Tanis and Kevin were lucky enough that even though the wind was cold, they were able to have there outside ceremony @ the hitch n post in Grosse Isle. We were even able to get all the photos done outside till the poor bride was sooo cold she couldn't take anymore. But I must say, The bride, groom, family and bridal party were all great sports. We did all the formals outside, even though we were frozen, and a good thing we did. We got some amazing shots. Have a peak....

E-Photos

Tonight I had an engagement session with Lynda & Mike.

The session started off a little rocky, as this fun couple, was

a little uncomfortable in front of the camera. So I decided to

do some fun jumping, dipping, and walking shots to start.

The magic then started to happen and the couple began to

relax, and feel good with me, and the shoot happy lens in

front of them. Here are some samples.

Sunday: PORTRAIT DAY

Today, I didn't shoot a wedding, but it felt like it. I started the day with family portraits in Labarriere Park, then drove over to the forks to shoot Alaina & Dennis's Engagement photos, we moved along so quickly with the engagement pictures that we had time to go to the Forks, St.Boniface Cathedrale and a park just off Portage Ave. Which was awesome. Once finished with the engagement couple I headed over to St.Norbert Museum located on Turnbull drive to finish up the day with family photos. I had never been to this location, and I have to admit, its an awesome spot, especially down by the river. All the fall leaves are scattered everywhere, the creek behind, and the trees all partially covered by beautifully colored leaves. Here is some samples from the day. Feel free to check more out on FACEBOOK.
