Baby on the Way

Today I photographed a fantastic family. Mom, Dad and little "D" and soon to be baby 2. Todays little one was 18 months old, and full of fun, and energy. He was a hard one to capture, but we got him a few times, and as cute as he is, isn't hard to get a great picture. Glad to have been asked to capture this families life moments, and to help remember this pregnancy.. It was fun guys!

It was a great day with great people. There are some fall appointments left, so if your interested in up dating the family photo, please feel free to give us a call or email. Here is a sneak peek of my Sunday:

Patti & Jeffrey

Friday I photographed the wedding of Patti & Jeff. What a great couple. I must say that Jeff had me laughing so hard during our formal photo shoot, i really wasn't sure how many photos wouldn't have camera shake blur. LOL. Thanks guys for being so great I really had a good time and am honored to have been asked to capture your special day. And Patti, I will never forget your wedding. First time in a golf cart, and first rear ender in a golf cart! Thanks girl! Oh and, note to self, Don't drive Golf Carts with Patti, without a seat belt! LOL. Here is some shots of their special day!

Asra - Professional Winnipeg Belly Dancer

Last week I received an email from Asra. Asking me about photographic services for her self to update on her website, as she is a professional belly dancer in Winnipeg manitoba. Specializing in Weddings, Birthdays or any events you require her services. However, Asra DOES NOT dance for all male events! This is listed on her site! Today I had the opportunity to meet her, and we spent 2 hours in the exchange. I couldn't believe the beautiful costumes that she continued pulling out of the suit case she brought along. The detail, the color, and the over all gorgeousness of each costume. As I don't have experience in Belly Dancing of any kind, even spectating, I was a little nervous about the shoot. I was very excited to do this shoot for her, I just didn't know if I would be able to pose her properly. So we worked together. I suggested some stuff, and also asked her to go ahead with some of the moves on her own. Together we made a great team, cause even I must say, we got some AMAZING images. Thanks Asra for being so great, and I do hope you enjoy your images. Everyone should check her out. www.asrabellydance.com

Ryan & Tara MARRIED!

A few weeks ago, I headed out to the Legislature Grounds where Tara, & Ryan shocked me by some AMAZING courage, and eagerness of photos! Tara who told me she isn't great in front of a camera, totally knocked my socks off. Their engagement shoot was absolutely amazing. In the fountain, laying on trees, etc. Their engagement session was full of romance, & love. Today they were married, and it was the same LOVING, Romantic couple that I worked with a few weeks ago. The wedding took place in St.Laurent Manitoba. Which to be honest, I had never even heard of till I met this couple! I made the hour drive and it was great! The formal photos of the day took place on the beach! I am very happy with the outcome! Not only did I get some great shots, and capture some romantic moments of this couple. I had the pleasure (sarcasm) of tons of disgusting little frogs hoping all over the place. The bride & groom, and bridal party had a great time laughing at my fear as I ran through the grass, trying to reach the sand, to be rid of the gross little creatures. Other than the frogs, the day was AMAZING. heheheh. Oh and I got to meet up with Adam, one of last years grooms, and a few of his groomsmen. Its alway great to see past couples, and bridal party members. But I definatly can't forget to mention the brides brother Chris. At Adam & Bonnie's wedding last year, he nicknamed me "Maggie" Well the name has stuck with numerous members of this family who I have come to know, for upcoming weddings that I will be photographing! So since I couldn't come up with a nickname for him, I tortured him with photos instead! Thanks Chris! hehehehe, next wedding I will make you do some crazy poses for sure! I was easy on ya today! :) Anyways, here is some sneak peeks of the day! Enjoy!

Canada meets USA

What a fabulous couple I had the pleasure of photographing today! Andrea & Glenn met while on a retreat for youth, through their church. Glenn an ordained pastor, and Andrea a youth leader met and fell in love. Living far apart didn't stop them. Glenn residing in Michigan, and Andrea residing in British Columbia was definatly a far enough distance, but they made it work, and now it was worth all the hard times apart. Today they were married in Winnipeg, Manitoba where Andrea grew up with Family & Friends by their side. The wedding party, all from different States and Provinces, made for a very fun, bridal party. The guys all American, were a blast to work with, and I loved throwing out the "Eh" at the end of a few sentences. The ladies, nearly blew me away this morning. I arrived, and walked in the kitchen where the music was pumping, and some great oldies were playing! Hits from the 90's and so much more. My Assistant and I had a hard time not putting down the cameras and starting to bust a move! The heat was intense, but no one let that get them down. Thanks guys, here are some sneak peeks!

Lorette Manitoba

Yesterday I was back in my old Roots. Well almost. The wedding was in Lorette, Manitoba, where I spent a few years going to highschool. I must say that town has changed from back in the day. Chelsea & David looked awesome, and we spent some time in their huge hundred acre wood. (LOL) Ok, not hundred acres's but it sounded cute. Then in a field across the street. FUN FUN. Here is some pics!
