Dedicated to photos!

This was a very busy weekend. After Fridays wedding, that ended for me around 10pm, a friend called to say that her water broke (she is just under 37 weeks pregnant) We had planned to do a location maternity shoot on Tuesday, but due to the crazy weather we had here in Winnipeg, that shoot was cancelled. So, she asked if I could pop over to her place and get a few shots for her, before they tried to get some sleep and then head to the hospital....... So of course I did. We did just a few pics in her living room without the proper lighting set up, and no backdrops, but we got a documentation of her perfect baby belly! My friend Colleen is a dedicated photo girl. How many people can say they had there maternity photos taken while in labour! :) Colleen you are amazing!

And of course, today I seen the little bundle of sunshine. A baby Girl. 5 lbs 12 oz of perfectness! Born yesterday (Saturday, July 18th 2009) If she would have waited a week and 2 days, we could have shared a bday, but I guess we can share the month!
