A Self Portrait Task

Well... Another weekend has passed and my plan of doing a studio family portrait of our family, back fired. Of course it ended up being to busy and no time. Friday started off being the day to get things done. The dog had a hair cut, I went and did the same and even had some blonde highlights put in, by the fabulous Zoffia at St.Vital Unisex. So things were well on the way to our family photo shoot. (that god for remotes and timmers) Well, did I mention I only left for about 2 hours. I got home to find my husband curled up behind our plasma TV with a gigantic hole in our wall. You see, if you don't know my husband, you must know, he has an obsession with electronics, and in wall wiring. He decided to move the wires over to a different location and in order to do so, he well ummmm, had to remove part of the wall. Thank goodness he is a handy man, and was able to re-drywall it and fix it up. But when I walked in the door, that isn't what I was thinking. Again, drywall particles all over my floor, putty knives and containers on my counters, my goodness. I knew right there, that my drywall powder faced husband wouldn't be up to a family photo shoot! Our friday evening ended up being curled up on the couch watching movies after my late night visit to the Regent Walmart. So next weekend it is........ I hope.

LOL!!! I love the handyman! That sounds exactly like my life. You described my counters exactly. Does he use your baking utensils to mix the mud?
