Lockport, Manitoba

What an eventful day. Its amazing how fast things go on your wedding day. Todays wedding was very hectic, the bride was late coming back from the hair dresser, the make up was done alittle bit later than it should have been, and we all raced out the door behind the bride to get to the church on time. The ceremony was beautiful, performed by the brides grandfather, which made it so personal. After the ceremony we made a quick stop at the cemetary for a few photos, then to the nearby train tracks, then raced from Lockport to Harbour View. I was trying to keep up to Grandma, and you know..... I hardly did! LOL. We got alot of shots at Harbour View and off we went to the train station. Leaving the last location 1/2 hour past time limit, not allowing a second to spare as dinner was supposed to be beginning as we were getting into the cars in downtown winnipeg, expecting to be in Lockport, Manitoba. WOW. The bride and groom made it to the reception about 45 minutes later than expected, but the crowd was there, happy and waiting for the new couple. 8pm, my day was done, and the guests were eating there dinner. One thing I suggest to all brides is MAKE A TIMELINE for yourself. KNOW EXACTLY how you want your wedding day to progress and make sure the bridal party, photographer, and anyone else included in the day have a copy. If you are pressed for time, people will more understand that you have to MOVE, and that there isn't time for trying this and that, have a quick congrats at the wrong moment, etc. With all that said, todays wedding was beautiful, happy and very exciting for all. I am glad to have shared in it with them.
Here is a few photos.
